Tower of Love - by Gene Burdette

Down in Honolulu where the trade winds gently blow
There's a quaint Hawaiian legend that was born long years ago

Some say it's just a fairy tale a story made of dreams
But every boy and girl in love will know just what it means

Hui:
Beside the tower of love where first they met
He said "hello", my friend she smiled Aloha
Then, from the tower of love he sailed away
And said "goodbye my dear", she waved aloha

They both forgot the orchid lei he wore
It floated back across the reef and touched the shore

So, if the legend's true they'll meet again
Beside the tower of love to say aloha
